Welcome! I am a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Colorado at Boulder in the Department of Political Science. I'm also affiliated with CU's Institute of Behavioral Science. I specialize in comparative politics and methodology. On this website you can find my publications, CV, and contact info.
My current research interests include:
The effect of extreme weather on vulnerable populations in Latin America
comparing how countries respond to different disasters and testing whether there is a way to tell which countries are doing a good job at recovery (and which aren't)
whether or not citizens can accurately judge whether their government is managing recovery from disasters well or not, and what political action (or inaction) they take based on this assessment
whether anti-Indigenous rhetoric in Latin America increases political violence
